When I started looking for a central place on the Internet
a few years
ago to find references to the Corvette, I couldn't find much. So I began compiling my own
links, facts, and data.. As time went on, more people found my home page and began using the links. So,
around the middle of June 1996, I cleaned it up a little, and soon it was reviewed by one
of Idaho's larger newspapers, The
Post Register, and shortly after placed on the State of Idaho Internet page. It evolved from
a home page to a full blown Internet site and became the "Idaho Corvette Page".
In early 1997, the site as adopted by all the Idaho Corvette Clubs. It has been reviewed by the , "ADP Auto Connect", and others.
The Idaho Corvette Page was voted one of the "Top 500" sites on the Internet, by
Web
Now Magazine. The site continues to grow and has been reviewed by USA Today, The LA
Times, Corvette Fever, Road & Track, Corvette Quarterly, and other notable print media. e-Auto chose the Idaho Corvette page
as the site of the week for the introduction of the all new C5 Corvette.
I've tried to keep the pages clean and uncluttered, no garish graphics, wild animation, or
frames. I feel a reference page should be viewable with all browsers, fast, clean, and
speedy, like the Corvette. The site is constantly evolving and changing. I've also
provided information about the state of Idaho, and close by "hot spots" for your
Corvette Cruise. Visit us often, and thank you for making this one of the most popular
Corvette sites on the Internet. |
