The Idaho Corvette Page

This page was created in the late summer of 1996
( Excuse the slow loading.. Web graphic technology wasn't what it is today back in 1996 )

Note: Some of the links on this page may be "Dead and Gone" but we wanted you do see what we were up to in 1996 before the C5 Corvette was introduced, and why we were chosen as
"Corvette Site Of The Week" for the new C5 introduction.
The "Light Blue" C5 was an artist computer enhanced conception taken from one of the covered spy photos !

Plant postpones tours:
Production of the 1997 Corvette has forced the Bowling Green Corvette Plant to stop its tours. Communications Coordinator Jane Bowlin said the tours are stopping because the plant wants to ensure the safety of the visitors. The production area is too widespread to re-route the tours around it, she said. The tours will start again in spring 1997 when the construction is completed, Bowlin said.
